While I have nearly two decades of training and educating in various areas of counseling, it has been my work as a Grief Counselor that I’ve found to be the most rewarding and fulfilling.
The counseling skills I’ve acquired over the years enable me to support people in healing depression, stress, trauma, anxiety, communication problems, family-of-origin work and addiction issues.
I take a holistic approach with my clients, focusing on people’s strengths. This allows the client to actively participate in their own healing process. In keeping with the holistic approach and in the interest of continued education in my counseling practice, I recently completed a course integrating the use of creativity in the healing process, especially around the issue of grief.
